if you're 18, 19 and pregnant is that still teen pregnancy or is it considered adult pregnancy?

my midwife doesnt regard me as a "teen pregnancy"
infact, she is forever saying how much easier things will be for me, and how all the risks of a problematic baby or pregnancy are very very low when under the age of 20!

Technically your still going to be a teen parent.
But when people think about teen pregnancy, they usually think about younger teens, but to answer your question - yes its still classed as teenage pregnancy, eventhough at that age your classed as an adult!! Confusing i know!!

Interesting question, because i know at 18 you become an adult, but I know in the doctors off I work in 18 and 19 is still considered teen pregnancy.
I have no Idea why, maybe its because 18/19 end in teen. But good question, I will be interested to see other opinions.

Well I would assume if you have 'teen' in your age..it is considered a teen pregnancy. But you aren't far from not being.

I would say it is teen pregnancy because under the law, one will be consider adult only at 21.
