could i have had a miscarriage???

i had many signs of pregnacy weight gain from nov.-jan, cramps, abdominal pain, tender breasts, morning sickness, etc & my previous period was late, really light & short (not normal) then in jan. i got really sick like really bad nausea & bad body pains esp. in the abdominal and this lasted about 5 days. about 2 days into this and for about a week afterwards i had spotting that was reddish/pinkish/brown and sometimes white stuff. i got blood test takin about the 4th day into this pain and they found i was ok they thought maybe i was just sick but i was never like this before. within 2 weeks after this i lost all the weight i had gained and i was feeling back to normal & had a pregnacy test came back neg. at the time i did not think i was pregnant but now that i look back on it i think i may have been & may have had a miscarraige. did this happen to anyone who had a miscarraige before? could i have had a miscarriage? i need answers so please help me, i need to know! please & thanks =\
the bleeding was heavy sometimes & light the next & there were a few clots too. ?
the pregnancy test was about a week or 2 after this, not during or before....like i said i did not think i was pregnant at the time....


this is really bothering me now id like to know wat the chances are i couldve had one

Sometimes getting sick, and when you're about to get sick, can mess with your body weight and everthing! I got mono once and didn't get my period for 2 months and i had symptoms I got with my period like tenderness and cramps and all that. But I wasn't pregnant. My body just got out of whack.

Yes, although I have never had a miscarriage. I have read about them. The only way to tell if you had a miscarriage is to take a pregnancy test, because you will still have the hormone's for a few weeks. Then, you can see your female doctor and ask her to check to see by doing an ex-ray to make sure your healthy.

Yes you had a miscarriage. When you said about the clots was what did it. Please go see a doctor.

Ok, it is too early to tell whether you were pregnant or not! I had a misscarriage but My situation was alot different I ended up needing a D&C at 8wks my sac stopped and fetus died. I was in the process of misscarryin but I was rushed to the E&R. In your situation you may have had symtoms but honestly it was too early. If your doctors made you undergo blood test and came bk neg, you deff weren't or it could of just been way to early. Normally you need to wait 5-6 wks into your pregnanct to determine the levels whether your pregnant or not. Then after that the other choice is to have an ultrasound./sono to determine whether a fetus is growing or not!.. Next time ask for different options to make sure your not having a miss! Sorry to hear your story, but also remember we on here arent doctors you should ask these questions to your ob-gyn doctor who can make you feel alot better in answering your questions!
