I would be 5 weeks, 2 days pregnant today... everything seemed fine until early this morning... I woke up around 5AM and was having pretty bad cramps. Went to the bathroom and found blood on the tissue... came back to bed, and had pretty severe cramping on and off for about an hour... been having a fairly heavy blood flow since then, but only really notice it when I go to the bathroom... it doesn't seem to come on it's own... Haven't noticed any significant bloodclots but blood seems thick and sticky... I'm accepting that I'm having a miscarriage... any advice... my doctor cannot see me until tomorrow... ???

Go to the ER now instead of waiting to be seen tomorrow. Unfortunately, IF you are having a miscarriage at this point, there won't be much any one can do. Sometimes though women have bleeding during pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. You need to find out what's going on now though.

Please if your doctor cant see you till tomorrow.. I think you should go to the hospital.... this could be a misscarage but it could be an eptopic pregnancy and that needs immediate attention if your bleeding.... I had cramping and spotting at the begging of my pregnancy and it turned out to be ok but my doc couldnt see me that day and sent me to emerge. All the best.

You should probably go to the ER or a different doc. because to me that doesn't sound good at all, but some woman when they are pregnant still bleed a little during the time they have their period, so hopefully it's nothing bad.

It sounds like a miscarriage, you should still go to the doctor. If it is a miscarriage they really can't do anything for you since your under 3 months. Sorry

I'm so sorry, but it sure does sound like you are. I just had a miscarriage last week and I had bleeding like that and each day it got heavier and eventually I was passing clots. Even though there's really nothing anyone can do at this point, you should still see a doctor as soon as possilbe to avoid any complications. I'm so sorry....

When heavy bleeding and bad cramping are happening that isn't a good sign. I had slight blood last Friday and I was right there at the mergee waiting to be seen. Thank god it wasn't anything. That's what they are there for and get paid for..to help you. The clotting can indicate a miscarriage, butt get your but into the merg and find out for sure. Like someone else posted it could me pregnancy in the tubes, that will cause a lot of pain, and if untreated really severe pain as the tubes could rupture. Call someone right now to take you in!!

I went to the ER early on a Saturday morning, when I suspected I was miscarrying my third - had been bleeding for about 36 hours with increasing flow, cramping, but no clots. The doctor said with the significant bleeding but no clotting it was pretty much a 50-50 chance that it would stop on its' own or that it would continue to a full miscarriage. He told me to go see my doctor the following Monday, and to take it easy until then.

With your bleeding being only when you go to the bathroom it sounds like your chances of continuing on without miscarrying are much better. Put up your feet and rest until you can see your doctor, or go to the ER. I hope all turns out well.

I had a misscarriage back in August. Unfortunately it started in the same way it started for you. The doctor couldn’t see me and I didn’t go to the ER. Their answer was that during the first three months there is not much they can do because when that happens is because your body recognizes that there is something wrong with the pregnancy and does not go ahead with it. In other words your pregnancy is not healthy. When you have spotting is normal but when you have heavy bleeding it is not normal.

Afterwards we decided to wait a few months to make sure everything in my body was back to normal. And we are now 6 weeks pregnant and things are going perfect. Not cramping at all, not even spotting.

I am sorry for you because I understand that feeling but the best thing is to have a healthy baby. I wish you all the best.

I started having on and off cramps and went to the bathroom and there was a strand of blood then went to bed and when i woke up there was a glob..everytime i went to the bathroom that the only time it would come out..it was just like yours.i went to the ER and i had already miscarried..go to the doctors to get thing checked out..u might need to be cleaned
