a few months ago i was pretty sure i was pregnant...i had all the symptoms - sore breasts, nausea, bad heartburn, nightmares, spotting blood, ect... but i waited to test (i dont know why, i guess i was just so confident that i was pregnant). Like almost two months later i didnt have any of the symptoms anymore, i quit "feeling pregnant" so i took a test and it said negative. i think i had a miscarriage. Im so sad now. I was so excited about having a baby and all...

I'm sorry. But you really should have taken the test much earlier.

The same thing has happened to me, it can happen when you are stressed or just over worked or over tired. You can go to the drs and get a blood test if it was recently and they can tell by your hormone levels.

I am not a doctor or anything of that nature, but I know what happened when my mom had a miscarriage.

My guess is that you were never pregnant.

What probably happened was, you hoped you were pregnant, but you really weren't. Sometimes you can imagine ALL of the symptoms because you WANT to have them. OR maybe you had a chemical pregnancy...

That could have very well been your regular menstrual cycle. You can experience those same symptoms during your menstrual as well. However if you were indeed pregnant unfortunately, your first action should have been to take a trip to your OB/GYN to confirm your suspicions.

The first trimester of pregnancy is the most crucial. So your waiting did not really help matters much, however from you stating your "excitement", I would guess this was your first pregnancy. If of course you were pregnant. Now what I will say is this a common mistake that most women make. Also I would say that you have plenty of time and you will be more than capable of getting pregnant again.

I have 2 living children out of 11 miscarriages. So I understand the sadness you are or might be experiencing. Now to find out if you were very much indeed pregnant, you could be examined by your OB/GYN and they can confirm your suspicions, or bring your sadness to an end.

Either way sweetie you will be fine and before you know it you will feel the joy of being pregnant once more.

Good Luck!

normal women who r not pregant get these symptoms so dont worry but next time u think ur have a test asap. u would know if u had a missarage cos its a lot heavier period and its not on time as your usual period so i dont think u did and also u would of been in pain for a few days cos it has to get rid of the sack and everything else.

Did you bleed? Most women go through horrible pain and bleeding when they miscarriage. There is a real risk of hemorrhaging and the baby is expelled from the body. It is likely you were never pregnant, maybe that is why (subconsciously) you never took the test.

Please next time get prenatal care as soon as possible. I am sorry but it is too late....you will probably never know.
Sounds like you may have been pregnant....what was your last period like? Was it very heavy and full of clots?

If you were pretty sure you were pregnant, why didn't you go to the doctor? It's possible you just never were pregnant.

You could have been, and had a miscarriage and not noticed. Sometimes though, I have heard that if you want a baby bad enough you can make up the symptoms of pregnancy in your head and your body even start to feel them. So if that sounds like you then its possible. Too bad you can't every really know though... I bet that would be quite upsetting!
