any alcohol at her party but she said that it's okay to drink during the first few weeks of pregnancy anyways? is that true ? sorry I'm oblivious I've heard of F.A.S but is that possible if you're only a few weeks pregnant?

WTF, of course, that is a very BAD time, ur baby is forming, dont listen to her, she has not vested interest in you or ur baby, stay away from her, she is bad news.

Yep, it's possible to give your baby FAS in early pregnancy. Obviously, one drink isn't going to cause as much harm as getting drunk but the early stages of pregnancy are the most important because that's when the baby is forming and alcohol can interfere with that. Good for you for not drinking and tell your friend, if she ever gets pregnant, that she can't drink.

Your friend is an idiot. The first three months of a baby's life inside the womb are the most critical for them.

Your friend obviously thinks drinking is a top priority. If you think you are pregnant then you just dont drink anything. Regardless of whether it will do any harm or not, why bother risking it? It's just alcohol, it's hardly worth it. I don't see why your friend would encourage you to have it if she thought you might be pregnant. That's just stupid.

First of all it is NEVER okay to drink during pregnancy. Most doctors are controversial on women having a glass of wine during their pregnancy so why risk it? If you don't know it's really not your fault, but if you know or think you may be pregnant and are able to drink anyways that doesnt say much about your character. And when I say you or your I mean anybody not just you!

i would suggest for the sake of your baby, if not for your own, not to drink at all while you are pregnant.. regardless how early you are. nowadays there are so many diseases, and other things like down syndrome, sids, anything that can harm the child. just be safe. just sacrifice 9 months from the alcohol and it will hopefully save you a lifetime of pain and misery from a child thats having problems.

i am not saying that its a guarantee, but at least you are giving your child a fighting chance at being normal.

your baby probably wont end up coming out with retarted if you have a few drinks, but why would you even want to put your baby at risk. wake up, your pregnant!!
