I told my OB/Gyn I thought I was pregnant- but after doing a pelvic exam he said I was for sure not pregnant because of the position of the uterus. No tests were ordered. I just found out I'm pregnant and my last few periods (if they were periods)were really abnormal- lasted 10 days and very painful. I'm worried that I was pregnant (thinking it was a period?) and had an xray done for something else, of the pelvis! I'm really worried that my baby might not be ok. I've been having cramping and pain on one side, and low back pain; but it's not severe. They just told me it's probably the ligaments having to stretch as the uterus changes.

The only thing I can say is get it checked by your doctor. But it's normally fine unless it's accompanied by bleeding then you should worry cause that normally means miscarriage. Good luck sweetie I hope everything's fine.

I had major cramping when I first got pregnant. Don't worry about the x-ray, they don't want pregnant women getting them because of the potential for problems due to the radiation, but the chances are incredibly low. Before they did ultrasounds, they used to do x-rays to confirm pregnancy.
