Hello, I'm almost 6wks pregnant with my 2nd. I don't know why I feel so lost...our son turns 5 in October. For some reason instead of being prepared and aware of all the symptoms I'm lost and confused and I find myself with even more questions now.
Usually, my period would've arrived yesterday (but yay for us! :) ) and since yesterday I've been having these mild period like cramping. Unfortunately, I'm also having trouble going to the bathroom (constipated).
I'm sure I'm fine. I'm just so nervous!
:)

yes these are all very normal things to be feeling i feel the same and I'm on my forth its amazing how quick we forget how we felt before
cramping is normal its just your body reacting to the missed period it still expects it to arrive
and constipation yep also normal hormones cause that
congrats xxx

I don't remember having cramps... But that is just me.
I suggest you call your ob/gyn right away, just in case.
Good Luck!

Cramping is common in early pregnancy. It is normal to have differnt symptoms for each pregnancy. I did not experience cramping with my first two children but I had cramping from week 5-7 with this current pregnancy.
If you start spotting you sould call your doctor as that may indicat a loss or problem.

First off, congrats on the pregnancy! I understand your concerns. I was constipated in weeks 7 and 8, but that soon passed. Just drink lots of fluids! As for the cramping, I think its just the uterus getting ready for the baby. This is my second, and I also had cramps when I was 5 to 6 weeks.
