View Full Version : Where will I feel my unborn baby move during the early part of my 2nd trimester?
I am 14 1/2 weeks pregnant and I have been told that I may be able to feel my baby move in the very near future. Will it be anywhere in my "belly" or just the lower part? Isnt the lower part of my "belly" where the baby is right now?

Under your belly button. You'll think it is gas at first, just so you know.

It probably varies from woman to woman, but I started feeling little flutter type movements in the middle of my belly. By 15 weeks I kind of felt link Pong was being played in there...baby would just bounce back and forth. I'm at 33 weeks right now and she's just rockin' and rollin'.
Trust me, you'll know it when your baby starts moving. It's a really amazing feeling.

at about 16 weeks is when you will begin to feel fluttering. But it really depends on how you are built. If you are skinny then earlier. If you are on the larger side, it can take a little longer. Check out http://www.babycenter.com they offer great information. congrats.

If this is your first pregnancy most likely you won't feel him/her until at least 18 weeks.

You'll feel it just under your belly button , but with my second i felt it a little more towards the left side of my abdomen , i guess it depends.

the baby is still right in your pelvic region. You might not feel the baby until 19-20 weeks... or you might feel something that could be the baby- it's hard to figure it out at first.
either way, it will be low in your belly... if the dr. has listened tothe baby's heartbeat, wherever that heartbeat is, is where you will probably feel the movement.
congrats and good luck!
