I'm 18 weeks pregnant and until the last week I started throwing up and feeling nauseated. I have a couple of pregnant friends that have had a really rough pregnancy the 1st trimester and after the 3rd month, their symptoms have calmed down. The 1st trimester I just had a lot of sleepiness but none of the usual throwingup. Now I do and well, I've even missed my 1st day at work due to that. Any one else going through the same thing? What can I do to avoid throwing up.

well, usually pregnancy symptoms are worst in the first and third trimesters. maybe you are sick, like flu sick.

I did, I was perfectly fine until I hit about 22 weeks and then the morning sickness started. I've found that if I eat several small meals, roughly every two hours eat something, I feel better and throw up a lot less often. I'm now 25 weeks and I'm managing :) Good luck to you!

I had morning sickness from 14 weeks until 34 weeks! The first 13 weeks were ok, just tired.

I had to be put on medication for nausea because I did it ALL the time, it was worse than motion sickness!

Try crackers and dry toast. Good luck

My friend was so sick the entire pregnancy that she actually lost weight with her baby. But still had a healthy 6 1/2 pounder.

When I was pregnant with my son I was sick months 3 and 4 instead of months 1 and 2 like most women. I didn't know what to do about the morning sickness. I think there's medicine you can get from your doctor that's supposed to curb it.

wow im 38 wks and i am just feeling like throwing up but nothing comes out tho, dont try skipping meals yesturday i went to the hospital and i was having contractions every five mins because i wasnt eating enough of drinking enough water. the doctors gave me ice cold water and then the contractions went down to nothing. They gave me a paper stating i eat frequent very small meals and drink 8 glasses of water each day. maybe that could help you out about the throwing up part

Wow you're lucky. I just found out I'm pregnant this morning (my period is only 8 days late) and I'm ALREADY having symptoms!!!!!! LOL I threw up two out of the last three mornings! I'm going to try to eat before bed becuase I read that the stomach and body is feeling naseaus because it has lacked food all those hrs you were asleep... then I'm going to eat something easy on the stomach as soon as I wake up.
