I shaved my legs today for the first time in a few weeks. It's getting so hard to bend over with my foot on the tub to shave that I'm thinking this might be the last time I shave until the baby is born (currently 32 weeks). Any advice on how to make this easier? It's just hard to bend over..my belly gets in the way! :)

I'm 38 weeks and it's horrible. But I refuse to go the hospital with hairy legs. Haha.
I shave my legs in the bath tub instead of bending over. I've found it's a little bit easier. Yes, the hair gets in the tub, but when I am finished I shower off.
Maybe this will help you.
Good luck. :)

I didn't know I still had legs. I know they work but I don't think I have seen them in ages. I tried shaving them the other day... I could only get from the knee down with my belly in the way! Perhaps see if hubby wants to give you a hand?? Just a thought. Good luck

I would sit kind of indian style but with the soles of my feet touching each other and shave the bottom parts of my legs and my girly parts that way (may require a mirror)
Otherwise I would lay back in the bathtub and bring one leg up at a time.
This is also a good time to let your husband take over shaving.

I shut off the shower and let the faucet run, sit down and prop my leg up. I'm 36 weeks and still shaving!

Oh, it's so hard to shave your legs. I used to shave my you know what too and now it's like "forget it." I can't even see it anymore to shave. I'm almost 36 weeks and my belly is so big I can barely shave my legs (which I only do every couple of weeks too). I have to do it in the tub because it's way too hard to bend over in the shower to shave.
My only advise is you might want to restrict shaving to the tub so that way you won't have to worry about maneuvering as much as you would in the shower and the chance of losing your balance and falling is way lower. Good luck getting through your last trimester!

I soooo know how that is!! I am 34 weeks, and rarely shave! I did the last time about 2 weeks ago, and they are getting pretty bad again! Most of all I am afraid I am going to fall trying to do it!! HAHA! The advice I have gotten on this is have someone help if you really want it done! ((your hubby or boyfriend)) I am not one to worry about the "harry legs", so it's not a huge deal if I don't do it, but I would like to have them shaved before I deliver so I am not scratching the doctor's face during delivery! :-P
Good Luck, and be careful!!! :)

lol yeah..my husband actually cheered the other day because i shaved my legs for the first time in almost 4 or 5 weeks. lol im 38 weeks + now and its VERY hard to shave..but i just did it last weekend. i found that if i bring a chair into the bathroom and put it next to the tub and sit in the chair putting my leg up on the tub helps a lot. you dont have to bend the same way as you do when your in the tub. Then i have a bowl of water to rinse the shaver off in while im shaving that sits next to me. MUCH easier!!
Good luck and hopefully your hair doesnt grow too fast! lol

Isnt it fun? i will be 35 weeks on friday, and I ONLY do my legs right before my doctors appointments (darn it I have one this afternoon!) I have been using nair myself, I have read that there is no reports of this having any problems for the baby. BUT even the nair is difficult to do! Good Luck and Congrats!

I stand up in the shower and prop my leg on the side of the bath tub (on the top rim) and go from there.
I can totally shave my legs (28 weeks pregnant) ... it's my cha cha that I can't see anymore! :)
good luck! God bless!

Absolutely! My husbands been shaving my legs for me for about a month now. I have really been considering getting my legs waxed. I went to this outdoor thing with my kids and it was really hot outside a few weeks ago (I live in Texas-Thomas the Train came in town) and I wore shorts. I looked down and realized it had been about 2 weeks since I had shaved. It was really gross. I never go anywhere so I don't think about it. Anyway, noone said anything about it, so maybe they just weren't looking, but I hate shaving my legs. My husband enjoys it though! (I make him do my bikini area also!)
