Abortion is a choice, global warming is not.

Less people = less environmental impact.

global warming and abortion are both CHOICES. But both are also very different issues. Global warning is a problem of the human race; abortion is a problem of circumstance. we are making are environment the way it is, and for some ppl the environment they are in makes them choose abortion i.e. abusive partners rape incest

Because people are enigmas wrapped in mysteries. There are a whole lot of moral issues out there, and some people have thought out certain ones and not others, or came to conclusions different than yours. Thats the darn problem, not everyone knows your right about everything.

Good point.

The Democrats wish that more of us would be aborted so that there are fewer of us to exhale pollution when we breathe.

The Democrats believe that we should all do exactly as they command us to do, and never question their morality.

Therefore, they demand that as many babies be chopped to bits as possible, and that those who survive the abortion mills must be forced to pay the cost of having the nerve to take up space. This cost is higher and higher taxes, and of course a new tax - Carbon tax. Imposed on those of us who have the gall to exhale this deadly poison - carbon dioxide.

aborted fetuses = FETUSES, not babies... aka: not alive. No one is harmed, and it's an individual choice.

global warming = mass climate change, shift in weather matters, increase in natural disasters, and destruction of resources, thus resulting in the potential for mass famine, disease, and death of millions of innocent (and LIVING) people and animals.

Global warming causes harm to millions. Abortions don't hurt anyone, sans maybe the would-be mother's psyche. They aren't related in the least... sans what someone else mentioned: the fewer people, the less global warming.

EDIT: PS' comment is BS. First of all, Democrats are hardly beacons of liberal thought. Secondly, aborted fetuses are (scientific fact here) not "alive" until the 2nd Trimester (abortions are generally only legal, sans special cases, during the 1st Trimester)... Oh yeah, and actually, people get tax breaks for kids in most Western countries (ie: they're PAID to have kids, basically).

And frankly, the Religious Right, the vast majority of whom are Republicans, tend to have the monopoly on wanting everyone to bow to their idea of "morality", which many find very immoral. Most "liberals" (I hate that term) essentially believe such things are a matter of choice for the individual... if YOU don't believe in abortions, then don't get an abortion. That's acceptable. However, the "conservatives" want to impose their morality on EVERYONE (rather than allowing people to live by their own code of morality, within reason).

EDIT re: "dude, there is no difference between a baby not born and one born, except one is still in the mommy and ones not."

Scientifically, that's not true. Before the central nervous and circulatory systems are developed and functional, a fetus lacks sentience... can't feel pain, doesn't respond to stimuli, and lacks what we otherwise consider to be *alive*. It takes time for a fetus to develop these things... if it didn't, then there'd be no need for them to be in the mothers' womb... they could pop right out the day of conception. But that doesn't happen, coz they have to *develop* those qualities.
