It depends where you are from. The laws in Canada are wierd but 95% of people won't do them after 12 weeks.

I know someone who had an abortion at 12 weeks and recently a friend of mine had a baby that had abnormalities and ended up dying - the baby was 13 weeks when it died and she had to have a normal birth.

in the UK i think its 22 weeks, but your city might not do it you may have to go to Liverpool, they have private clinics there that do late abortions.i know someone who had one at 19 weeks. i heard on the uk news that they may be bring it down but its def over 16 weeks.for numours reasons.

I believe it's 20 weeks in the UK but this is very late - too late in my personal opinion. Best thing is to go to your gp and discuss it with them, and as others have said, inform yourself of all the option before making any final decisions.

in the uk its 24 weeks. At this stage a baby would have a good chance of surving if born early which sickens me to the very core. Im 21 weeks now and feel my baby move everday.

well, it depends what state you live in and there laws. But most of the time, they do abortions up until the fetus is 'viable', which means up until the baby (fetus) is able to live outside the mother womb without any medical/artificial help. Which could be up until 7 months along.

I am just wondering what the baby did to that is punishable by death? There is always adoption. My bio mom wanted to abort me, but my dad talked her out of it, thank god. There is punishment that comes with having abortions. Can you live with the guilt you will have day in and day out!
